YOU are to blame is right!

"you" and "we" are to blame indeed!! it's up to us to bring back culture to "new disney city"

you can say the people lurking behind the curtain are to blame, the "shadow government", etc.

but what if these concepts are symbols or archetypes of the madness within us all? maybe if people stopped seeking distractions to escape the painful truth that the world, which includes every single one of us is truly messed up, dysfunctional, out of balance, and in a great deal of pain (despite all of the smiling faces!)

it is said that the definition of apocolypse means to reveal; to show the truth (not having to do with all of the 'doomsday'/end of the world propoganda) maybe this means that everyone's shadow self and the worlds shadow self (both being one really) are surfacing as we speak, therefore the madness that normally churns out of sight and mind, has no choice but to "boil over" into our everyday reality, hence the madness cannot be denied nor ignored any longer.

ekart tolle in "a new earth" said that in order to rid ourselves of madness, first we must see the madness within ourselves, that to see it is to begin to transcend it, go beyond it---he further argues that the "ego" is not to blame, rather our "false ego" is to blame...which can be seen as extreme vanity, insecurity, jealousy, envy, too much pride....that these take possession over all of us at times, like a "psychic parasite" or c.g. jung referred to it as the "psychic alien factor" yet when this takes place we should be careful not to identify ourselves with these things, "they are not YOU!" but that although all of us fight to tame these things, we get trapped in the identification of them...and the less we identify with false ego possession, the more we are able to WAKE UP!

perhaps, your true self is found within your soul, spirit, pure awareness and Being...

What is going on in Manhattan?

Has NYC turned into the suburbs? Why is it so quiet in the streets? Why are the people of NYC allowing this to happen? Why do you want the city to become a huge suburb? This is NYC people, "Wake-up!" = Bring back life to the city!! A Ghost-town indeed. The Arts are in jeopardy of becoming obsolete, something you read about in history books, and are no longer important to this culture. NYC is supposed to be the "Mecca" of all things creative, and innovative, and REAL, but this is all disappearing, right before our eyes, and WE ARE ALL TO BLAME!!! - Shame on us all.

STREET TOUR REPORT: coming at you live and in full force!

They are trying to kill us, but we can't let them do it us. We must stay strong, vigilant, determined, and not give up hope. Solidarity is what we need, not just amongst the musicians of the world, but everyone. I know this sounds completely impossible, and way too far-fetched, but if we don't pull together as a people, unfortunately WE ARE ALL DEAD!! Any person with even a little common sense can see how fucked up everything is these days. Everywhere we go to play, whether in Central Park, Tompkins Park, or Astor Place, Union Sq., Columbus Circle, Washington Sq. park, West Village, East Village, Mid-town, Chelsea, Up-town, Soho, Wall St., and the list goes on and on and on, we are eventually shut-down by the police, and if we continue to try to play in that area, we get a summons to appear in court for "Unnecessary Noise" and other trivial charges. This is just freakin' insane, and I don't know anymore about this city, really starting to lose faith here, so...

STREET TOUR REPORT

We have not disappeared, just taking a hiatus from the street for a minute. Thanks to the 9th Precinct, and one official in particular, we can no lomger play in the LES, at least for a while. That means we have to play elsewhere, in Central Park, the West village,etc.. This is only temporary, as our fans are from the LES, and this band originated downtown in the LES, so we will be back real soon to play once again in Tompkins sq. Park, Astor Place, and our other spots downtown. Thanks to all of our fans, for staying strong and supporting us through these impossible times. We are working towards getting gigs and we will keep all of you informed as to where and when we are playing. Help us to keep the faith and stay strong!! Don't be fooled into believing what they want you to believe!
