that hits the nail on the head! what the hell is new york city becoming...reminds me of a giant version of my suburban hometown, walnut creek california--no soul, no life, no color, no fire, full of void--shit that's why i left california, but now, perhaps it's no longer a local phenomenon--it's happenin' all over the planet--global gentrification coupled with disney and all the benefits henceforth, if you can afford them!!...new york is a giant suburb now
